The Story

Clean Queens is a gritty, high-stakes exploration of friendship, integrity, and the gray areas of morality. The narrative follows Josie and Janie, two women bound by a codependent relationship that is as much their downfall as it is their salvation. Inspired by the raw dynamics of Thelma & Louise and the sharp, punchy energy of The Nice Guys, the story delves into the beauty and complexity of human bonds when pushed to the limit. From Short Film to Prestige Universe

What began as a vision fueled by a community of 85 dedicated Kickstarter backers has evolved into a multi-platform cinematic universe. After a successful 2025 festival run for the original 14-minute short film, Clean Queens is expanding its footprint:

* The Prestige Vertical Series: Currently in development, this mobile-first episodic drama unwraps the lives of Josie and Janie leading up to the events of the short film, reimagining cinematic storytelling for the next generation of viewers.

* The Feature Film: The ultimate vision for Josie and Janie. The 106-page Feature Screenplay (available in our shop) serves as the blueprint for this future big-screen production.
